Every season I put together a list of things that I want to accomplish during the next 3 months. Ever since I’ve started it, my life has become much more interesting as I am constantly trying out new things and challenging myself in different ways. Today, I’ll give you a brief outline of several things that I have on my autumn to-do list and that you should definitely add to yours as well.
Host a Halloween movie marathon
Every autumn enthusiast should plan a Halloween movie marathon, regardless of whether you enjoy scary movies or animated films like Coraline and The Nightmare before Christmas. Thankfully, you have a lot of alternatives this year since, in addition to the iconic Tim Burton movies that we’ve all been watching over and over again every year, a ton of other movies are set to be released this fall, like Halloween Ends, Pray for the Devil, and the much anticipated Hocus Pocus 2.
Buy a sweater
Autumn is the perfect season to rethink your style and buy new things for your wardrobe, and what better thing to add to your closet than a sweater? If you’re looking for something more creative than the regular jumpers that you can find in mass-market stores, I recommend taking a look at the wide collection of wool sweaters https://www.tarairishclothing.com/collections/mens-knitwear , as they have plenty of styles to choose from, from classic crew neck pullovers to the trendy zipper knitted sweaters, all with distinctive designs.
Try a new cuisine
Even though it’s not really autumn-related, I like to include this on every checklist I create for any season. Whether you consider yourself a foodie or not, it’s always a good idea to broaden your palate and try new things. Besides that, there are lots of cuisines that have amazing autumn recipes, for example the Russian solyanka meat soup or the Italian pumpkin risotto, so why not give them a try.
Go hiking
Due to the lack of vitamin D and the gloomy and rainy autumn weather, it can be quite tempting to slip into your bed and do nothing all day long. This is the time when I want to push myself so that I can stay active whatever the circumstances. I usually enjoy long walks in the park, but this year I want to go hiking; not only is it good for physical and mental health, but it also opens incredible colorful sceneries that I could never see from the ground.
Bake cinnamon rolls
Unpopular opinion: as much as I’ve tried to like it over the years, pumpkin pie is just not my cup of tea. Cinnamon rolls, on the other hand, are exactly what one needs to feel the autumn coming. I don’t have any secret family recipes so I just look them up online. Trust me, some of them are so easy that even a 10 year old could bake the tastiest rolls with crème cheese glaze that you’ve ever eaten, so there is really no reason for why you wouldn’t make them this year.
